The Miracle Worker

Immortalized on screen by Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke, this Tony Award-winning play is the story of Annie Sullivan and her student, Helen Keller, who lost her sight and hearing at the age of 19 months. With compassion, humor and dramatic tension, The Miracle Worker explores the volatile relationship between a lonely teacher and her headstrong charge.

Auditions for teens will be held on at  7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 21st, in Father Ruehl Hall at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 22nd at the Frassati House. You may come either night. Call-back auditions will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 7:00 pm in Father Ruehl Hall for only those that the casting directors feel they need to see a second time. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Please remember to bring a parent to sign forms, a FULL list of conflicts between now and the end of July a completed audition form, a membership form, and your $10 per family dues if you are not already a Drama Club member.
