The St. John’s Drama Club has been in operation since the fall of 2008.  It was organized by home schooling parents with theatrical backgrounds that saw a need in their community for drama education among their students.  Although the specific need was seen among home schooled students, the Drama Club is open to and includes home schooled, public schooled, and private schooled students.  The Drama Club is a ministry of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Front Royal, Va and part of the St. John's Youth Group.

The purposes for which the Club is organized are as follows:  

a) To provide a venue for all interested teens to participate in bringing to the stage well-crafted dramatic productions, which are family entertainment.  

b) To give teens an opportunity to meet on a regular basis to socialize, learn the art of acting, appreciate good drama, and enjoy various dramatic presentations together.  

c) To help each other grow in virtue and in faith, as our goal is that all our actions and performances are ultimately directed to the glory of God.
